    The NEUSPEED short shift kit easily installs onto the transmission's selector shaft. The Neuspeed short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears by approximately 40% - this is the absolute maximum reduction possible without overextending the cable mechanism.


    The NEUSPEED short shift kit incorporates a calibrated counterweight which is required for more positive shift action.


    This is a completely bolt-on application - no cable adjustment required.


    Notes:

     Fits: VW Jetta V & VI, Rabbit, Golf VI, Golf VII and Beetle 2.5L 2006.5 - up, 5-Speed manual transmission with small pin stud. Originally equipped with OEM shfter lever part # 1K0 711 051 K or M.


    Also fits 1.4 TSI engines with 5 or 6-Speed manual transmissions.
