Forge Motorsport Induction Kit for the MK6 VW Golf R

Everything needed to upgrade the car’s induction capability is included in the kit, including the hand-fabricated intake pipework, all silicone hoses and clips and of course, the stunning carbon-clad filters themselves. These have been created exclusively for Forge by filtration gurus Pipercross, and feature the latest multilayer-foam technology that is proving to be so successful in this season’s British Touring Car Championship(BTCC).

The Forge kit channels ice cold air from the front of the Golf through precision mandrel bent aluminium pipework, to ensure that the largest volumes of the coolest possible air is available to the engine at all times. Running two filters obviously doubles the available filtration area, maximising efficiency and improving drivability and torque throughout the rev range. It does look rather smart too! The factory MAF unit simply bolts into the pipework, meaning the Forge Twintake system integrates seamlessly with the factory management system to provide the perfect basis for enhancing a stock car and is proven to deliver good gains on cars mapped up to and including stage 2 software, when coupled with the other necessary modifications at this power such as an exhaust.
